The soaps, lotion and spritzers that I have selected are non irritating to my skin – (and my skin is extra sensitive) As soon as I have a little extra money, I will be trying some of the other products. It appears to me that your company use the right amount of the ingredients in your products and the smell is just terrific. None of the products that I have selected are overpowering. Other products sold, may state the same ingredients, but most are still irritating – that is why I think your company must know exactly how much to use – well anyway – I love your products. I have severe allergies & too many other soaps have ingredients that I can’t use. Since I have been using it for dishsoap, my hands aren’t dry anymore. I use it as shampoo & a facewash also. I absolutely love your licorice lip balm and the earthy, exquisite scent of your evening primrose facial serum. Your emu oil is a decadent treat for my skin, as well. The best news is this: the excema my grandson was experiencing since birth (he is now 6 months old), has cleared up completely by bathing him exclusively with your unscented castille bar soap, and nothing else. | April 2008 | Hi Susan, I received the liquid castile soap as well as the bar soap, and although I like both, I really like the liquid castile soap. I am a multi-racial African American, and stopped chemically straightening my hair last fall. After cutting all of the chemically treated hair off, I began wearing my naturally. It has finally grown out to a respectable length, but I've had difficulty finding suitable hair care products that do not dry my hair out, but do not weigh down my naturally spirally curly hair so it appears overly frizzy, or like a huge fuzz ball. The liquid castile soap made my hair look absolutely BEAUTIFUL - my spiral curls sprung into their natural position, and my hair was incredibly shiny. It has never looked healthier or more beautiful. Additionally, I did not get the dry, itchy feeling I get when washing my body with most other soaps, nor the rash that usually follows shortly thereafter. I am going to try the liquid castile soap on clothing, dishes, and other general cleaning tasks next, but because I only ordered a small bottle, I will soon run out. In our previous conversations, you mentioned it would be much more economical to order the liquid castile soap by the gallon. What would be the cost of one gallon of unscented castile soap? I have medium-length, naturally curly hair and used about a fingertipful. Scrunched into towel-dried, damp hair, then either air-dried or diffused, it gives defined, shiny curls. Feel free to use this as a testimonial. |

Hi Susan, My son’s eczema has been improving steadily since we have been totally “detergent-free” and using your liquid castile soap for everything. He still has outbreaks, but they can be attributed to detergent and/or chemical exposure outside of the home. Once I get his skin washed off with your soap then it improves once again. Susan, I received my order yesterday and could not wait to try your soaps. They smelled absolutely fantastic! The cocoa butter was very moisturizing and the lather was so rich. I have to admit, I've had bad experiences with several companies (who shall remain nameless) that sell natural/organic soaps. Their products would make my skin really dry and barely had any lather. I don't know if it's an uneven mixture or too much of a certain ingredient. I won't pretend to know because I don't make soaps but your products will definitely be what I will use from now on. Dear Susan, I wanted to tell you how much my family loves your castile soap. Actually we love everything at Country Rose Soap, but your new castile soap is just wonderful!!! Most of my family members have sensitive skin and the castile soap has been the answer to our prayers. The fact that you use all olive oil makes such a difference. Here in the States companies add palm oil and coconut oil to the soap and it does not feel the same as your soap. In fact, I did some checking on the internet and all I could find under castile soap was the palm oil, coconut oil combination. Your company has always been fast in delivering my order. I remember an order I made during the Christmas season. You emailed me that the post in Canada was a little slow so you sent my order using a faster mail and you did not charge me extra for the faster post, you just wanted to make sure I received my order in time for Christmas. Susan, Please feel free, if you so wish, to add the following to your already long list of testimonials. My family (my 4 children, ages 13 through 20) and I have been using the shampoo bars for a number of months now and it`s occured to me that a note of thanks for this fine product is long overdue. With these bars you`ve taken a product that- with respect to just about every other soap or shampoo maker on the planet Earth- in it`s present incarnation, has become a veritable 'witch`s brew' of (at best) chemical mischief making and, by making it smartly and well, made it simple again. Consider this list of ingredients I`ve compiled from a (now old and still only half used) natural and '70% organic' (ahem...) shampoo we happened to still have lying around: Triticum Vulgare, Oxybenzone, Glyceryl Stearate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Grapefruit Seed Extract,Potassium Sorbate, Stearalkonium Chloride.... Astonishing, isn`t it, that we once put such things as these on our hair and skin. With your shampoo bars, my daughters` long (and now not so long as my eldest just went shoulder length. Ah well, it
will grow back) hair today is as shiny and smooth as when they were very, very young and my sons no longer feel the
need to get a haircut at the start of every month just because. I like them too. They`re not only mild enough for
me to use sometimes two and three times daily (in addition to my day job as a custom acoustic guitar maker I also

Hi Susan, Before I forgot and go straight to ordering more castile soap, I just want to let you know that the 100% castile soap (bar) really helps. After so many years of using those chemical-based shampoos, my hair was really a mess -- very oily, lanky just several hours after washing, and was thinning so much I was fully prepared to get a wig before long...! Then one day, I got busy -- trawling the 'Net on hair loss and remedy and read lots of articles on 100% castile soap and how it helps to restore the balance, get rid of the chemical residue and that it's super mild/non-allergic. So when I was in Vienna & London in March this year, I was looking high and low for 100% castile soap. I got several bars of castile soaps from one apothecary in Vienna but it got palm oil and other stabilizers added in. So once I got back to Singapore, I started searching for home-based businesses producing castile soaps -- and I found you...! I can really see the difference it makes to my hair in just 6 months. I don't think this is psychological: I truly see fine strands sprouting out from where my hair was thin before. And I see less hairs on my comb or on the floor. I am going out of town to a wedding this weekend and wanted to be able to put some of your soaps in a gift basket. It will be fine if I can't, but I am so impressed with them I keep giving them to other people. My four year old daughter had a cold last week so I put her in the bath with a few shavings of the peppermint soap and the teatree & peppermint soap; not only did she smell great, her sinuses cleared, and she thought it was a special treat because she got to use Mommy's soaps. I can't tell you how much I respect your work ethic. It is so hard to find people who make a product well because doing things well is the only way. Hi Susan, Thank you so much for everything! I just received my order this afternoon and have to say that I really appreciate the free gift and sample of vanilla tea rose oil. So far I have tried the lip balm and hair butter. Your formulas are amazing! The texture, consistency, and essential oil blends are perfect, and I can tell that these will last a long time - if I can keep myself from wanting to reapply them every 2 minutes! I loved the soaps and the gift box was a huge hit with my cousin and his wife (they just had a baby). I just had to order more and wanted to try your facial products as I have sensitive skin and have a difficult time trying to find cleansing products that don't irritate my skin.
