Liquid Castile Soap |
|
Hi Susan, |
| We now offer 100% Olive Oil Liquid Castile Soap and an Olive Oil & Castor Castile Liquid Soap . Liquid Castile Soap: Our 100% Olive Oil Liquid Castile Soap is a true Castile soap with no harsh foaming ingredients. True Castile soaps are the mildest and most moisturizing of all soaps. So mild that newborn babies can use them. Most liquid soaps that claim they are Castile soaps are not made with 100% olive oil. They usually have coconut and or palm oil included in the ingredients. Ours is made using only olive oil making it a true Castile Soap. A true Castile Soap is always ‘100% olive oil’ and NOT ‘mostly olive oil.’

Hi Susan, I've just read your newsletter and it's VERY true you're the only one selling TRUE castile soap. I had such a hard time trying to find someone in Europe who does it, I was completely mislead by one website (bought their product and had to send back as the label in the product told me everything that wasn't in the site...) and now I'm in this mission to try and get the soap from you through my friend. Warm wishes, Andrea. |

Hi Susan, I received the liquid castile soap as well as the bar soap, and although I like both, I really like the liquid castile soap. I am a multi-racial African American, and stopped chemically straightening my hair last fall. After cutting all of the chemically treated hair off, I began wearing my naturally. It has finally grown out to a respectable length, but I've had difficulty finding suitable hair care products that do not dry my hair out, but do not weigh down my naturally spirally curly hair so it appears overly frizzy, or like a huge fuzz ball. The liquid castile soap made my hair look absolutely BEAUTIFUL - my spiral curls sprung into their natural position, and my hair was incredibly shiny. It has never looked healthier or more beautiful. Additionally, I did not get the dry, itchy feeling I get when washing my body with most other soaps, nor the rash that usually follows shortly thereafter. Most sincerely, |

The
following is excellent info from a regular customer who gave some
great advice. Dear Sara, Question: Are you finding that your hair builds up with any soap residue as it is a common problem with handmade soap? Reply: Hi there... Good question. I have long light brown hair and use your soap bar everyday! Although it does leave a sleight residue overtime I continue to use it rinsing it maybe once every two to three weeks with ACV or washing it with an alternate organic shampoo. This washes out any built-up residue. In general though I like the sleight residue build-up because it gives my hair much more volume and shine. Many friends have notices how great my hair has looked over the past few months. When they ask I tell them about your products which leads into the questions "how does it feel to wash your hair with just soap"? I simply say it feel's great...like beach hair. One major reason my hair might not get as built-up with residue is because I have a shower filter. It is a great system that works harmoniously with all your products bringing out the best in them and in my skin/hair. PS: A friend tried the soap in her hair without having a shower filter and had the same results as you. She could not use it more than twice without rinsing it with something acidic. Thank you for your time and have a great day. Sara

I was on vacation with a friend, and had forgotten my shampoo. She let me use her castille soap that she bought from you. I loved the way my hair looked after using it, and I am a cosmetologist and have used many, many different products. She let me bring it back home with me, and after using it for the next month or so, I finally used it up. Now my hair looks limp and oily, and my head itches like crazy from other shampoos. I didn't realize while using it that my head did not itch at all. I have very sensitive skin and apparently a sensitive scalp as well. I can't wait to get some more castille soap from you! |

What is Castile Soap? In earlier centuries an all vegetable based soap was made in the Castile region of Spain from local olive oil hence the name 'Castile'. Both our bar and liquid castile soaps are pure olive oil castile soaps made with only olive oil as the base ingredient and no other oils. It is pure, simple, gentle, mild, and so versatile with numerous applications. Our liquid castile soap is so flexible as it can be used for cleaning not only our bodies from head to toe (both young and old alike) to cleaning our homes from top to bottom. It even rinses pesticide residues off your fruits and vegetables and it does this all safely and effectively. No wonder it is now our #1 Best Seller! You will find that most companies add other filler oils such as coconut, palm, etc as these oils are cheaper but they are also not as gentle and mild and can be drying to the skin. I am also finding that more and more people are developing allergies at an alarming rate to many of these other oils. Our pure Liquid Castile Soap is quite frankly the perfect 'all-in-one cleaner'. One soap simply does it all quite frankly without fouling up the environment as it is totally biodegradable. We have 4 small grandchildren and all of them use this mild and gentle castile soap.
Uses of Castile Soap:
I have also now created a few all natural cleaning products which work well alongside our Liquid Castile Soap located here: http://www.countryrosesoap.com/naturalcleaningproducts.htm There are loads of recipes on the internet utilizing liquid castile soap.
