How safe is my personal information when I shop on your site?

Rest assured that your confidential information and transaction information will be secure when you place an on-line order at Country Rose Soap Co Ltd.  Our shopping cart automatically accesses our secure server at: www.countryrosesoap.com . We utilize the very latest Thawte Certificate in encryption software which protects you throughout the ordering procedure.

Why do I have to have my "Cookies" turned on to shop in your store?

To function correctly our shopping cart needs a "cookies enabled" browser. Without "Cookies On" the shopping cart cannot keep track of any additions to your basket. If you prefer you can always Fax or Mail in your order.

No, we do not have an order minimum. 

Can I Order by Phone?  

Yes you can.  Just call 1-604-530-8970 or toll free at 1-877-617-8970 .  Please have the code #'s of your selected products ready.

Can I Order by Fax?

Yes you can. Just fax us your order at 1-604-530-9428.

What are your business hours?

Our Online Store operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our customer service hours are Monday to Friday from 9 Am to 5 PM PDT.

What kind of Credit Cards can I use?

You can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Can I pay COD?

Sorry, we do not accept COD.

Do you take PayPal?

Yes we do accept PayPal. You can either select paypal when shopping in our online store, or for phone or fax orders we can send you a paypal invoice for payment.

Do I need to have an account to buy from your store?

No you do not need to set up an account.  Just follow the ordering step through the checkout. 

Can I ORDER WHOLESALE?

Available in Canada and US only. To receive our current wholesale catalogue and price list you must provide us with your business information, address and type of business, ie) physical store, e-commerce store, gift basket company, home party sales etc.... Please email us or call us at 604-530-8970 or toll free at 1-877-617-8970. We will then email it to you. It is not available printed for mailing.

All orders are shipped by Surface Mail or Expedited Parcel, and can take between 4 to 10 days depending on where you are located. Our web store automatically calculates shipping but for bulk or wholesale orders just contact us for rates.

When will my order be shipped?

Orders are normally shipped within 1 business day. During peak seasons it may take an extra day to process your order. 

Will you ship to International Locations?

Yes we will ship internationally to select countries but it can be quite expensive and can take 8 to 12 weeks to arrive and clear customs depending on your location. Please contact us for rates and whether we ship to your country.

My order was damaged in shipping. What should I do?

Please note damage with carrier and contact us immediately via email or phone. We will figure out the best way to deal with the damage depending on the situation.

Can I exchange my gift?

Yes you can. We want you to be 100% satisfied. Simply return your items un-used and in re-sellable condition within 30 days from when you received your purchase and we will exchange it. With exchanges we are not responsible for any shipping costs and prior approval must be obtained by us via email or telephone so we can watch for the returning goods.

What is your Return Policy?

We will be happy to refund your returns if you send us the items un-used and in re-sellable condition within 30 days after you received your purchase. Please contact us via email or phone to obtain a return authorization from one of our customer service staff. On all returns you are responsible for all freight costs and we will refund your money once we obtain returning goods.

How long does your Soap stay Fresh?

Our soaps will keep for 1 year to 2 years but are best used within 6 months to retain the strength of the scent.

Is this soap safe for babies and people with sensitive skin?

All of our soaps have more beneficial oils than commercial bars.  We suggest you choose a soap that is uncolored and unscented if you are worried about allergic reactions.  We use only 100% natural ingredients with no synthetic dyes or preservatives and have had no negative comments from our customers during all our years in business. Our most popular soaps for our customers with sensitive skin are our bar and liquid 100% Olive Oil Castile Soaps.

A message from the founder of  Country Rose Soap Co Ltd.:  "If you have sensitive skin, I suggest you do a "patch" test of the product to determine sensitivity.  I have particularly sensitive skin and started making my own soap because I cannot use commercial brands. All of our products list all ingredients used so that you will know exactly what went into each product."

Are your soaps biodegradable?

Yes, they are completely biodegradable as only natural ingredients are used.

Why is your soap softer than commercial soap?

The naturally occuring glycerin content of handcrafted cold process soap is retained in the bar, providing moisture for your skin and hair. Most commercial syndet bars have the glycerin removed as it is a valuable by-product that is then sold for use in other cosmetics.  Glycerin is soft. If you can make a dent in the edge of a handcrafted bar of soap you know it is rich in glycerin.

How do I make my soap last longer?

Avoid letting water from showerheads stream onto the soap.  Keep dry after use by setting on it's edge or in an elevated soap dish where it can drain.  If you wish to store your soap before you use it, store in a dark, dry place like a linen closet or drawer.
